Description
Equipped with a tachymetric scale on its bezel, the Rolex Cosmograph Daytona was designed to measure speed over a given distance, particularly in automobile racing. The present Reference 116503 is crafted from stainless steel and 18k yellow gold, and features a champagne dial with diamond-set hour markers. Offered with its original box and papers, this sporty yet stylish timepiece is a highly regarded example among collectors of fine chronographs.
The watch is in excellent, new condition. The movement is running at the time of cataloging, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion.
