Patek Philippe Complications Reference 5970G, a white gold manual wind wristwatch with perpetual calendar and strap, Circa 2006
Beschrijving
Description
Patek Philippe is known for their long history of making Perpetual Calendar chronograph watches as early as the 1940s. In 2004, Patek Philippe released their best "Grand Complications" reference 5970; however, it only lasted six years, which was their shortest production for the "Grand Complications" model.
In fact, Patek Philippe first produced in white gold with a matching white dial. The white dial is meant to balance the black hands and numerals. The 5970 remains one of Patek Philippe’s most respected and most sought-after references to date.
The watch is in excellent, like-new condition. The movement is running at the time of cataloging, however, it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
