Description
Description
The 'ladies Nautilus' reference 4700 was introduced in 1981 and remained in production till 2004. It holds a special position in the Nautilus collection. It is the smallest version of the model, giving a more feminine charm to the sports watch design. The gilt dial of the present lot is perfectly complemented by a yellow gold case and bracelet, offering an extra vintage appeal to the celebrated creation of Gerald Genta.
Accompanied by the certificate from the archives.
The watch is in overall good condition with light wear throughout commensurate with age. The case is in overall good condition with minor surface wear. Bracelet has minor signs of stretch and surface wear throughout commensurate with age. The dial is in overall good condition. The movement is running at the time of cataloging, however, it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
