Harry Winston Limited Edition Project Z12 Reference OCEAHR42ZZ001, a zalium automatic wristwatch with retrograde
Description
Description
A fascinating timepiece with extraordinary details, Harry Winston's Project Z12 is all about concentricity and symmetry. This watch features a zalium case measuring 42.2mm in diameter and 11.27mm in height. The durable, corrosion-resistant and lightweight Zalium is the brand's choice of high-performance alloy; it is made of zirconium and aluminum. Protected by a domed sapphire crystal is the dial inspired by Manhattan's great bridges. At the edge of the dial is the disc for the date. Next to it are the hour and minute rings divided by a large blue; The red-filled arrows on the dial are the hands that create an illusion as if it traces a circular trajectory when they are actually non-overlapping and move in a semi-circular manner only. When the hands reach the half end, the retrograde feature jumps back. This avant-garde timepiece is powered by the 35-jewel caliber HW3306 automatic winding movement that operates at 4 Hz and has 332 parts. The watch is fitted with a calfskin strap with a denim-like design and rubber lining. This model is limited to 300 units only.
The watch is in new and excellent condition. The movement is running at the time of cataloging, however, it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
