Established in 1884 by a young watchmaker of the name Léon Breitling.
Breitling developed the first wristwatch chronograph in 1915. Typically known for their oversized appearance, this Chronomat is a 41mm case with an attractive rose gold unidirectional bezel, showcasing an inner tachymeter scale.
The watch is in very good overall condition. The case shows few light signs of use. The movement. The dial and hands are in excellent condition. The buckle is in good condition with light signs of use. The movement is running at time of cataloguing; however, it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion.
