Ulysse Nardin Big Date GMT Reference 329-80
Description
Description
This GMT +/- Perpetual ref.329-80 from Ulysse Nardin remains to be one of the most highly desirable and brilliantly built timepieces ever made. First released in 1999, this reference comes with a 40mm platinum case housing a practical perpetual calendar complication and a useful dual time complication. The display case back offers a view of the automatic Caliber UN-32. The face of the watch is silver-colored, subtly decorated with a guilloché wave pattern. On the dial is an oversized double date window at 1. Following in clockwise order are the month, year and date apertures. Sitting at the center is the 12-hour hand for the local time and an arrow-tipped 24-hour hand. This timepiece that's produced in a limited edition of only 500 pieces comes with a black leather strap with an 18K white gold folding clasp.
The watch is in overall very good condition with minor wear throughout commensurate with age. The movement is running at the time of cataloging, however, it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
